FOOD!
To all delegates at the NAMHO Conference

We can supply lunches on the Saturday and Sunday but needs to know approximate numbers. If you are planning to be at the Hall over lunchtime on either day and want to buy lunch, you can either: (1) go on to the booking form and tick the boxes (under MEALS) but this is only possible up to midnight on Sunday 30th June, or (2) send me an email and I will update your booking. We are not taking money in advance for these lunches so bring some cash on the day.

Deadline for booking lunches must be Wednesday evening 3rd July.

I would email Peter anyway as there may be a glitch in the booking system.

It will do no harm

jammer advice please

I having done climbing and hence have most of the kit required but with new availability of trips on different days (Frongoch) I now need to get a 'jammer'.

Looking around there seem to be a variety of things jammer/ascender etc and I am not sure which would be best for this situation.

Any recommendations gratefully received, thanks

Jammers only required for SRT, no SRT for Frongoch, Henfwlch, and most other trips. The technicalities are described with the trips.

Belay belt and cowstails and attachment krabs for the 2 above trips.

Top ladder in Frongoch will probably be toplined. I cant really give advice on best choice equipment, but if you want to self line any one would do.

A bit more.
I am looking at possible extra parking in the vicinity of the campsite. Will come back on this.
I also have arranged for a hardstanding area close to the camping field to be available for off loading gear. Room for about 3 cars at a time, but accessible by a narrow lane so consideration needed.
Campers will be able to drop off their gear and then go park on a long stay within a hundred metres or so. I will also have stewards identifiable by their HiViz lettered "NAMHO" available to help.

I've booked camping but am considering bringing my van instead, I don't remember specifying tent/van camping but if there is limited room I'm happy to stick to tent camping?

We only have very limited space for camper vans, so it might be wiser to bring a tent.

Its your choice. I have now arranged a large area of parking space directly opposite the hall.
Parking on the Maesefelin car park is limited but camper vans have priority as is designated for these and offloading tents - short stay.
Larger camper vans have parking elsewhere, could use the long stay field but would need to walk a short distance for night time toilet if van not equipped.
.
Everything has been covered as far as I can see.
We have parking space everywhere. What was originally seen as a potential problem we now have abundance!

Except that you forget to remind me which are your books that I need to bring

Hmm perhaps I will bring it then, I'll look up the trip meeting points on the map and see it parking it will be too much of a faff.

On the book front I'm not sure I can recall either - although I remember the discussion.....

Yes Alex, Mike Moore offered free books, (very kind). You wanted some and I took the lot with a promise to bring yours to NAMHO
Trouble is, I cannot find the thread to look it up
I keep telling people, forget websites and pm's, email me, then I have instant retrieval.

I actually get some partial emails that require me to register to some website to read the full text. You can guess where they go.
