An amazing day out. I don't think I've had a day underground quite like yesterday.

Thank you everybody who came along. And thanks Rockchick for the stew, Hymac for the port and Welsh cakes and Corin and Kes for the entertainment :thumbsup:

A few of us took a mad dash into the mine in the morning to set things up - and then abandon Corin and Bry to the cooking and setting up.

The entire route from lake level to the caban was done in lamplight, which is quite surreal and puts a completely different feel on the place to moden, harsh LED lighting.

Lunch was excellent; and afterwards a display of fire eating from Corin (awesome) and a wonderful flute solo from Kes.

Hoow on earth to better that?

A truly fantastic day out underground, and most definitely worth the effort that everyone put in to make it happen.

Well, just to add to the situation....I've seen your white one, got my black one back, and now, discovered which light fingered swine made off with my blue one!! :)

I do however hold the trump card, as I have a bag of your random possessions, including, in no particular order, 20 teabags, 1 book, 1 wooly hat, 1 not so wooly hat, and 1 pair of waterproof trousers!
