Uploading photographs to AditNow is an excellent way to share them with others and it can also be a very useful way of asking the forum's knowledgeable members for their help in identifying something.
If you wish to upload a photograph, you should first find the mine or location you wish to upload to. One of the easy ways of doing this is to click on the 'Mine Names' tab at the top right of the page, type in the name and then click on
Search.
In this example,
Conglog is being searched for:

This will return a list of mines containing the name you searched for - there may be more than one, for example
Croesor and
Croesor Bach will both be found by searching for
CroesorOnce you have found the mine you require, click on
View Mine and you will be taken to the page for the mine.

When you reach the page for a mine, it will display the albums which are associated with the mine, along with a lot of useful information including the grid co-ordinates and a location map. Background information may be included, as well as contacts if you wish for a guide for that mine.
Every mine has a
User Album and and
Archive Album into which photographs may be uploaded by all users of AditNow. Some mines may have additional albums, but in general photographs should be uploaded to the
User Album.
The
Archive Album is generally used for historic photographs of locations, for example where the features pictured no longer exist.
To select the
User Album, simply click on the text that says
User Album under one of the photographs:
