Tested and confirmed on Windows 8 and 10

I am using Win 7 which could be something to do with it. So if a set of instructions were to be put together for dealing with this, it would need to be different for each version of Windows.

Now what about mobile devices, Oh Dear
;(

Deleted my post there Roy 'cos it seemed ICLOK had a solution.

Not sure about writing instructions, nobody ever reads them anyway

Right.... Basically if you edit your pics in PS or Picasa and Save - they will be the right way up... it appears MS Photo editor does not auto rotate so my fix is as I said, reorientate on MS photo editor, save then reopen on MS photo viewer where it wnt appear as if corrected and do it again... Sorted

I find that with my lamp customers most people do. They're probably surprised to find my instructions only in English and all actually, well, ....instructions. Not silly Health and Safety rubbish on the lines of "Don't put batteries in the microwave.

There is a single advice on batteries against any attempt to dismantle and only using our dedicated charger and thats it, they're short circuit protected anyway.

I think that uploading photos is something that people would look for instructions?

From what I am seeing it needs to be a joint effort with others who are using different versions of Windows giving their input.

As I have already posted a procedure that works in Win 7, I will collate the results of the various inputs into a single set of instructions if everyone is happy with that.

I think that we do need to consider mobile devices but I will definitely leave that to others.

How do others get on with the "Fellows method" using Photo Viewer in Win Vista (excuse bad language), 8 and 10?

Does Win 8 and 10 still have Photo Viewer, even if its been renamed something completely different in typical Microsoft fashion?

Thanks.

I personally would recommend a solution that does not require anyone to download something?

Yes, but what I am looking for is, if its possible, a simple, no extra install, no download, standard Windows component, that anyone can use and is available across all the different post XP Windows versions.

I have to point out that there are many people including me who want to keep control over our own computers and refuse to download and install Windows 10, although I appreciate that many have had it shoved up them although they didn't want it.
