It might be a few weeks! But next time we order I'll see whether they supply the diffusers. But you might want a look at it first. It makes the torch look like the sort of thing they guide aircraft in with, and might be too diffuse for photography.

OK.. Hopefully I can steal or adapt something that would do the job. Of course with longer exposures there is increasing risk of burnt out patches even if to the eye it looks ok. The Light canon ones work great but even if I was to cut one up mounting it on the Fenix still presents a problem. More thought more experiments I think....

Is this going to be a trend perhaps?

Ah yes, the diffusers are rather good.

I'll try lighting something with it next time, but my most recent attempts have been to use a £4 B&Q portable lantern with a 5w fluorescent tube. The results might have been decent had I understood how to focus the camera 😉

Hi All,
I have a confession to make: I addeded a single diffuser onto the last order to see if it was any use for anything. So it ain't, or shouldn't be, free (or has the Doc decided to throw it in FOC?).
Anyway, I think it throws a nice light for sitting around eating sarnies, waiting for the next death-monkey to cross the BoDoD, recounting rude sex-toy jokes, smoking a pipe etc. etc.

Light Cannons......Pah

Dragon lamp all the way for me ( opps nearly forgot, hello first post on here, Dark Prince for Darkplaces blah blah blah)

I've even made a Quality Street/Lift Ceiling diffuser for the Dragon and it don't look like something you get from Ann Summers!!
