• OPEN DOORS: Free events and visits are promised this September when Rhondda Heritage Park joins the national Open Door scheme. During every weekend in September, the popular attraction near Pontypridd opens its doors to visitors free of charge - including complimentary underground tours. Tours are available at 10am, noon and 2pm and visitors-are advised to pre-book as places are limited. Please telephone 01443 682036 for bookings.

Saturday, September 15 -On the Buses - a-look at Rhondda Transport through the ages aboard a 1962 AEC Regent Double pecker Bus (stationary at Rhondda Heritage Park). Both are presented by David Owen, Valley author and archivist.
