Bit of a long shot this but does anyone have a contact for Griff R Jones who wrote the book on Rhiwbach?

Or has anyone a legible version of page 193 of his book with the annotated plan?

I'm trying to re-draw the plan of the mine as accurately as possible, but even on the original abandonment plan we have (it's the same one on the CAL website) there's a few annotations that I can't make out.

Regrettably Griff died a number of years ago. I may have a paper copy of the plan, I'll look for it tomorrow.

I do have a paper copy at A3 which is much clearer than the one in the book. I will need to scan it at work but am off for a few day now so give me a week or so I and Ill get back to you.

Cheers Jon, dont suppose you could send a photo? I've a pretty good idea of the layout, I'm just trying to annotate the plan I have with some of the historic information. There's various sinks and numbering etc I just can't make out on any of the plans I have

In my copy the annotations look like They have been crossed out
