Some years ago I found the photos below on a couple of websites - but didn't note which or who was responsible/the photographer. They show the least photographed part of the now demolished Floor 5 winder at llechwedd - the area beneath the drums and the western wall. As they are they are very informative - the captions here are mine - but I'd dearly like to know if there are any more out there. There are a good number of photos both on here and which people have leant me of the interior of the engine house and of the upper part of the drumhouse or "stage" but trying to draw up the lower part of the drumhouse leads to what I might call dimensional incompatibilities! I've deliberately not uploaded the photos at full resolution in order not to upset the original copyright holders - and I will, of course, remove them on request. Please feel free to PM me rather than answer this post if that is preferable.
Many thanks :flowers:

I've got a few quite good ones taken, coincidently, the day before they smashed the whole thing up with a 21 ton digger. I'll see if I can dig them out and upload them.

Thanks Miles for your efforts.

I have just deleted the following documents from the Llechwedd page:
Timeline/Chronology
Floor 5 Winder V1.0

Both will be replaced with updated (and more accurate!) documents in due course.
