hi all , was just after some recommendations for a good day out in the rain , maybe in the lakes or Yorkshire or wherever really :confused: srt or not ,,, not fussed ? - thanks 😎

Srr Francis Level, Gunnerside - Your going to get wet anyway up to your waist (maybe chest in a couple of places) Use a wetsuit and you will be warm at least. Short ladder pitch in which you could self-lifeline. Fantastic machinery at the end - see it before it collapses...
Further north there also Nenthead - Smallcleugh would be fine for a round trip with no gear needed.

I guess Alderley Edge would be pretty weatherproof. I think you do have to contact DCC in advance though.

Moss Head and Spion Kop up at Coniston? You'll get plenty wet on the way up, but they're great fun and interesting.
