Treetop Adventure of Betws y Coed has lodged a planning application for two zip wires at Penrhyn Quarry. It is intended that the longer one will be over 1500m long and pass over the flooded pit. 😮

Would it be also an opprtunity to open up any intetresting artefacts to the public?

It could be in the terms of the contract that they give the remaining water balances a lick of paint.

Don't hold your breath! 😢

Mind you with a bit of work they could probably open the Fitzroy and Sebastopol tunnels and add an underground tour

Also unlikely!
