If you park at the NT car park it is £4 unless you are a member. Although that is the obvious place to start as the lowere terminus of the ropeway was right by it and there are some remains there too.
I tend to park near the house on the corner where the road turns south to head for the reservoir. You are then parked right next to the tramway route.
