I have recently been doing some work in some local mines for the land-owners and also researching for the parish council. I have now started digging at an adit that has collapsed for the first 20m (at least). Progress is slow but good and extremely satisfying... the dig isnt even a week old yet and im in 15ft (fully timbered)... video below...
