The only work with the current works in the valley that has a direct effect on Crofty are these: -

1. Demolition of the old mill - starting imminently.
2. Installation of 2no 400mm dia pipelines for pumped water to enter the V Notch Wier.

With regards to the pumping, looking at rebound figures for South crofty is a pointless exercise, as the current stated aim is to pump Dolcoath prior to Crofty - as far as I know there is no historic data for the rebound in Dolcoath, further to that it can be assumed that the water in Crofty would not have rebounded as quick (3 years) if Dolcoath was not flooded, as this accounts for pretty much the entire Western Boundary.

The Crofty rebound figures were to give Stuey an insight of the methodology used as he made an earlier enquiry in another post a while ago about mine pumping in general.

No probs Lozz, I guess what I am getting is that nobody has a clue how fast water flows into Dolcoath - you may be able to estimate by looking at historic pumping details although these are going to be skewed due to the closure of surrounding mines since Dolcoath closed - at the time Dolcoath was bordered on the South by the Grenvilles and on the East by Crofty - both of which were still pumping. further to this - what condition is the Dolcoath Shallow adit sytem in - this would have removed a quantity of infiltrating water.

That was my thoughts on it also Knocker,some ties got paid a pretty some for that report,that means next to nothing.

Interesting report there Stuey,big plans,hope it comes off for the area.

rite im punting this idea out... a gathering of crofty mine supporters its been a while since there's been a gathering , im proposing one now, i am not gonna sit by after waiting all this time for the project to be killed off , we must gather there and make it known it is still wanted / needed .
