Hello everyone,

I came across this website when looking for an abandoned sand/gravel quarry to shoot in for a short film I'm planning. I was wondering whether the experienced people of this website could maybe recommend some to me. I live in London so the closer the better 🙂

On a side note, I never knew this sort of activity existed but after having a good look around the website, I think I might have a go myself!

Any help would very much be appreciated.

Thanks,

Olly

Not a lot of help but all the sand/gravel pits along the Grand Union Canal appear to be flooded and used for angling or water skiing.
I suppose dry ones must be about though?

Plenty of sand and gravel quarries out my way (Cambs) they tend to flood as soon as they stop working though.

More than plenty in Cornwall if you fancy combining a holiday at the same time. 🙂
