Hello and G'day one and all.
Recently joined but have viewed this site on and off over the years whilst doing research.
Originally from "The West Riding" but been in Australia a lot of years and also in that time worked around the world in mining, which I am still involved in. Latin America and the Former Soviet Union included.
I have a long standing interest in Industrial Archaeology, both in the UK and Australia, I also have a lot of interesting archive material salvaged from the rubbish bins of the dying National Coal Board.

G'day Ozityke,
Welcome aboard from a Greenslopes resident. You'll see some of the Brisbane and district locations I've stumbled around in some of the mine entries on the site. Sadly, in between the termites and later open cut work around Ipswich, there's not a lot to see but there's still a few bits and pieces around. I'm always up for an explore sometime.
