Hello everyone myself and a friend are starting mine exploration, we're not going in to it lightly and we are doing an srt course this month. We have a background in climbing and photography and are looking to get involved in some local groups. Any advise we can get will be more than welcome.

Well that's certainly central to Wales and Cumbria :thumbup:

If you're interested in the North Wales side look out for the AditNow Thursday Nighters trips, usually around the Blaenau Ffestiniog area and on....erm....Thursdays!
For trips centered around the Wrexham/Mold/Ruthin areas check out UCET (ucet.org.uk) who also meet on a Thursday.
