I'm new to the site forum but an old copy of my colliery book has been posted on this site from 2009.

Just to let everyone know an updated copy is available for free in PDF :thumbsup: to download at www.oldminer.co.uk. It is kept updated throughout the year.

Dear Neil cheers for the update, have downloaded it and am looking forwards to getting into it again :thumbsup: . Keep up the good work and it may be worth Lee W, myself and your goodself meeting up for a walk or two perhaps. We doing alot of work on the area South of Pleasley you might say inc alot of Tramways and the likes.

Downloaded a copy to replace the previous one.

Neil, could be worth putting the talk you've got planned in February in to the events & meets section on here. As Ian mentioned we've got quite a bit of info for South Notts coalfield. Also may have a few bits and pieces for North Derbys as well.

I went in a mine once.... it was dark and scary..... full of weirdos
