Hi Guys

Can anybody recommend which brand is reliable with the BRC 26650 3.7 volt batteries and any issues found with them

Avoid anything with the word "Fire" in the brandname, you should be OK with Sanyo, Panasonic etc

There is a guy on eBay who sells as "Ecolux" at right price and its all gen stuff and he is reliable. I have used him when stuck for cells

A lot of good brands are actually Sanyo or Panasonic relabelled and fitted with protection circuits, which you really do need.

Sanyo and Panasonic are now the same company but still selling under the separate brands. Sanyo are an OEM brand for reselling, but you can get Panasonic with the protection circuit as a retail packaged product.
Sanyo are popular with the laptop manufacturers.

Efest are re-wraps, but designed for E-cig's, so generally decent for high(ish) discharge. Similar situation with AWT.

Yup, there are a number of 26650 ecigs, and there's upcoming 48/50mm devices. Not a fan of the large cylindrical format myself, but they do exist.

Asking if Efest/AWT/Samsung/Sony/LG/Sanyo are good is a bit like asking of VW/Ford/Vauxhall/Kia/Subaru/whoever are good cars. Some are, some 'aint, it all depends what you need from it.

Ecolux on ebay as Roy says, and Torchy, who is something like "big_f_d_d" on ebay. I personally avoid any other seller on that site as there are more fakes than genuine cells out there.
