just wondered if anyone has ever played with these?
I've got quite a few, essentially ex laptop (apple macbook pro's)
they use half a dozen of them in a battery pack, a failed battery pack is usually because one has blown, the rest are all ok still.

They are sony batteries, so you would imagine them to be pretty reliable, apart from the blown one obviously. each cell is rated 2700mAh, and I'd say that is a little conservative, as a test, I charged one from a stripped battery with one blown cell, stuck a Cree T6 on the end and left it to it, got over 5 hours from one cell.
thoughts have been to pack an oldham case with a stack of them, and have a monster battery, or perhaps just use one or 2 encapsulated somehow and velcro'd to the back of me nappa or something
the battery packs have a tidy little circuit board to protect each cell and balance the charge as well, so could be good to utilise that as well
anyone every used these fellas? and pitfalls?
they seem too good not use and I've got a heap of them
