I came across the following photos which reports to the the Isle of Man in 1905.

Does anyone know the location, and is it mining related ?

Hi Chris,

Is that Bradda Head on IoM?

Hi Chris,

I did wonder the same as Mike but no current photos seem to show anything similar and I don't know the area at all. However a 19th C painting looks a bit more promising.

and does rather suggest a tourist attraction in the area.

The painting is a picture of Bradda Head with Bradda South mine and Milners Tower above it.
I’m sat looking at the same view now.

In Port Erin?

I suppose I could shift it to Bradda Lead Mine, I can't imagine it being an issue for the source and it is a good painting.

Sorry for the delay.
Yes in Port Erin, the Manx Mines Research Group have done quite a lot of work on the Bradda mines.
Great website, worth a look.

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
