I didn't think to look for something that looked like a piece of torn paper.
If Mr Gates, Mr Car Designer, Mr Household appliance designer etc gets to read this, there is a language that is fairly universal, its called "English" and its much easier to understand than all the squares triangles wiggly lines and meaningless shapes you can think of.
See Im off on a rant
I wont go into the lamps with flashy modes and the car windows that go down remotely off the key fob.

EDIT
Just noticed a yellow triangle with a "C" inside a gearbox component in the bottom right hand corner?
Only on this webs homepage
Its not trying to tell me something about myself I hope

Roy, They are used because the americans use strange names for things (such as trunk, pants and muffler) and they don't know how to spell!

So its obviously a waste of time listing things in alphabetical order which is logical to us, the alternative being say... regularity of use.
So top of any word list would be profanities and words such as "Dude", "Man" etc

Get a bigger monitor

It's already a 40" monitor (as the actress said to the bishop etc.). I am not sure that larger ones are available?

Chris.

For a 40" monitor, you appear to have a very low resolution... I'm looking at buying a 39" that runs at 3840x2160, and 2560x1440 isn't uncommon for screens in the lower 30's.

Is it capable of upping the resolution a bit?

That said, if you are running any kind of *nix, you probably know how to, and it probably can't... so I'll just shut up now... 😉

I always thought that Nix was something that you tried to remove from your girlfriend?
Or am I missing something?

*nix= Any variety of Unix/Linux.

Usually, but not always, reserved for the more technical.

Ah, well this screen is 10 years old, with a max resolution of 1280x768. It is meant to be used for advertising in shops and airport terminals rather than sat on a desk! And it was free.

Anyway, we are well off topic now, sorry about that.

Chris.
