Probably about time I started planning the annual N Wales summer meet.

NAMHO is 28th June to 1st July so I guess a few weeks after this. 13 / 14th sound about right?

Any of the usual suspects specifically can't make those dates?

Week before? Week after? (Might just be into school holidays so busier)

My calendar for July is very empty at the moment; and I don't anticipate anything momentous happening (famous last words and all...).

13th 14th looks like the weekend before summer holidays start, so that's probably the preferred option given that it's not the weekend after NAMHO?

1. It was sunny once when I was in Wales so who knows?
2. What about mid-Wales for a slight change?

I haz an idea actually which I'll share in due course. May or may not be a bit wet...

Any ideas for a good SRT trip? I have a few but nothing I'm particularly set on.

If the weather works out wouldn't be against a return to Dinorwic either.

Sunny day in Wales...............YEAH back in about 1977 - walking the path up to Croesor quarry (when it was still in use) - we got so hot that we stripped off and swam in the lake between Croesor and Rhosydd!!

Back on topic - how will this fit in with the DPBB reunion bash? - I suspect that there will be a few of us up for that!

It was sunny at Cambrian today! Which was weird with the sometimes 5 feet of snow at the side of the roads over the tops.

No idea! Don't know the first thing about it. Presume it must be getting kept out of sight of the hoi-polloi.
Don't think many of the people who normally attend the AN summer weekends use DP so shouldn't be too much of an issue if they do clash.

Checking the dates on the DPBB thing I see that it won't clash as the DP thing isn't until the end of August!

Yes agree, with work/family etc it is difficult to plan for a weekend, but there is easily another day in Dinorwic and a few people seem to fancy that idea...count me in :thumbup:
