I started to catalogue my mining books, and was not surprised to find the following duplicates. Please PM or email me if you need more details.

THE OLD MINES OF THE LLANGYNOG DISTRICT British Mining No 26 by R A Williams 1985 128 pp, 27 plates, 31 figs, 12 tables, SB. The rare monograph, long sought after. On Amazon £29.95, our price only £18.00

CWMYSTWYTH MINES British Mining No 17 by S J S Hughes. Rare first edition 1981 78 pp, 10 figs, 22 plates. SB These mines, whose history stretches back to perhaps pre-Roman times, are well known to industrial archaeologists, mining historians and geologists. Although their story has been partly told by modern authors, much has been left unsaid and this account, based upon long term research represents the most comprehensive and exhaustive narrative to date. An important monograph for both the mine historian and the explorer. On Abebooks over £30, our price £25.00

TALARGOCH MINE British Mining No 31 by J A Thorburn 1986 64 pp, 22 plates, 14 figs, SB. A detailed monograph, long out of print and in great demand. £20.00

A HISTORY OF THE MANOR AND LEAD MINES OF ARKENGARTHDALE, YORKSHIRE British Mining No 29 by Leslie Owen Tyson 1986 56 pp, 11 figs, 17 plates, SB. Powerful mining entrepreneurs dominated the larger part of the 19th Century. Frederick Hall, a towing personality, left an abiding impact upon Swaledale and Arkengarthdale. The role of Sir George Denys was far larger in scope than is usually understood. Here was a man with a social conscience, struggled against seemingly impossible odds supported by the heroic efforts of his miners, whose situation was equally desperate. The decline of the industry from the 1820’s is charted until the final death knell was reached. Long out of print and highly sought after. On Abebooks £21.00 our price £18.00
