Sat here watching Daleks- invasion Earth 2150AD.
Do I need to ask the obvious question?
But some observations include: no helmets, no ropes just climb the shaft structure, and no camera! Bunch of amatuers!

I went in a mine once.... it was dark and scary..... full of weirdos

More surprisingly in 2150 the 1960's Bedford van has made a comeback...but generally in the future according to sci fi films, they will have lasers capable of blowing up planets, but all mining will be done slowly by slaves and prisoners with no regard for H&S...big exception - the last star trek film, now that was a futuristic rock drill

I am a sad sci fi fan

Is it safe to come out of the bunker yet?

Yea, but we all love the Daleks though
One of the best was where one turned up as scrap and came back to life. It was a wicked story.

They have been able to hover since 1987.

Although the film was a set, the original on which it was based had the mine scenes at John's Hole Quarry, Stone, Kent.

Been injured while at work and are not to blame?
