I have a stock of the Proceedings of the Welsh Mines Society Conference 2010 - "Towards a Better Understanding, new research on old mines".

You can save postage and buy a copy from me at Nenthead on 13th May. All proceeds go to the Welsh Mines Society. £10.00.

Topics linking to the North Pennines include silver production in NE Wales and the Fair Chance water pressure engine - which may have be derived from the Westgarth Forster engine at Coalcleugh.
