Anyone any idseas where the Welsh Coal Mines forum has disappeared to? The site seems to have vanished from the web, and there was a lot of information regarding open drifts in South Wales.
Where there's a mine or a hole in the ground.

The site was withdrawn by the server without warning or any explanation.
John who runs ths site is working very hard to have it restarted. Fortunatly he has a backup disk with all the many years contributions on up to August 25th 2009. This will either be used with the pressent server or a new one if negotiations do not clear up the problem.
This should act as a warning to all sites like this that our contributions need protecting

John - the webmaster is making every effort to move the website to a new host. Hopefully the site will be up and running before very long.

Thanks for your help both. It's a good site, and I hate to see all that valuable information go down the proverbial.

Website back up on another server. The forum is not available yet, but John hopes to get this up once again before too long.

The website is down again today, there has been a problem with a virus on it so I assume John the webmaster is trying to purge it. 😠

There has been a problem with a hacker. there has been a virus put on the site similar to the ones doing the rounds on facebook etc. It has been coming up as: Exploit Javascript Obfuscation(Type894) John is working hard to get the site up and running again.
The hacker should be stood in front of an ore shute to examine its content when opend!
