don't know if there's any interest but I've got Sopwith's "An account of the mining districts of Alston Moor"

as an ebook - PDF, ePub or plain ole' html (might have a kindle version as well)

I can stick it up on my server for folks to download if anyone wants it

As its way way out of copyright, one of my clients is a small published that can do print on demand titles, so can get it reprinted easily enough too

Strange chap that Sopwith - he's followed me around for 20 years, its only when I got the original deeds for our house and saw he used to own it that I investigated and made all the connections... but thats another story!

I think its already kicking around on Google Books and Archive.org as its well out of copyright.

Just found his diary on there as well (or at least excerpts from it)

been curious for a while to see what he might have written whilst sat in my kitchen!

"buried all the gold sovereigns under the front stairs" would be nice to discover

Northumberland record office has his complete diaries on microfiche.

didn't know about northumberland record office. I read somehwhere that newcastle university library had them as well
