Can anybody help with the above photo? I was sent it recently and told it could be uploaded. There is an Avon Colliery

in the database, but the headframe(s) look distinctly different.
The full caption to the photo was Avon Pits 1921

Have a look on the Welsh Coal Mines web site,the bottom 1950`s photo looks similar comparing the buildings,the Headframes did change through the mines lives,they started as Timber in the early days.
