I was going through some old slides when I found this one taken by me using a Kodak instamatic - hence the lack of sharp detail. If only I had invested in a decent camera sooner!
I would struggle to name many of the people now but the guy on top of the machine without a helmet looks like Jimmy Dickinson Thyssen mech eng.
I had forgotten just how big a machine the Titan was. If I remember correctly we used it to drive a section of the Sea Drift through some disturbed ground in between the two sections that were done with the Demag full face machine.
