Sorry this is a bit off-topic, but does anyone know how long it takes to receive a Validation e-mail from UK Caving once you've registered?
I've waited days and the site keeps saying you have to wait for a validation e-mail.
Have also e-mailed the site but no answer yet.
Just thought that validation e-mails were sent within minutes?

Any ideas?

Hi Chris

This gets asked about this site occassionally.

There's always a chance a system generated email (such as an automated confirmation email) might get trapped by an over-enthusiastic spam filter.

On here we routinely check new registrations and make sure everybody has been able to authenticate, manually intervening in the rare occassions it is necessary (like where the email didn't arrive).

Drop Bubba on UKC an email and I'm sure you'll get your account activated.
