A cave but containing some pretty impressive prehistoric art that you can actually see rather than a replica ::)

Visitors and tours are limited but well worth a visit if you are nearby (near Carcassonne) sadly photos are not allowed inside.

9/5/15 WCMS Reigate Cave Day

Another open day at the Reigate Caves, as usual I spent most of the day in the Barons Cave, one of my tours included some torch enthusiasts from the candlepower forum, definitely the most brightly lit tour of the day.

I managed to sneak a quick look at the newly re-opened wine vaults that the local members have been clearing up.

What a wonderful end to the weekend! A winch trip to see the artifacts at the bottom of the shaft, a fascinating place and an effortless ride to get there! Massive thanks to all who gave up their time to run this for us!

12/9/15 Wapping/Cumberland

My nephew was over from Texas and requested an underground trip. Wapping/Cumberland seemed like a good choice. We met Zomjon and youngster inside although young T opted for a hasty exit, she doesn't like to be underground too long these days :(
