I can't describe this as a new book due to it being released in 2016, the author has only produced 25 copies this time.

The Anatomy of a Coal Mine - Daw Mill Colliery 1957 - 2013 The complete history of the last coal mine in Warwickshire
Robert H Blenkinsopp, A4, SB, 126pp.

Robert was the Vice president of the UDM and had worked in the pit from its beginning to its very sad end. In Roberts words a pit that should never have closed. Sadly a fire in workings on Friday 22nd February 2013 brought it all to a standstill and the decision was made to close the pit down. The author writes in a very sympathetic style and uses colour photographs throughout to describe the mine and its development an excellent volume. £15.00 +p&p

It was due to close the following year even if the fire had not occurred.
It would have needed a new drift or shaft to work remaining coal.
