Yep, the CEAG looks like a "Superlite". I was only a kid at the time, but can clearly remember my Mother bathing the alkaline burns, on my Dad's back, after he'd spent a shift laid on his side in the thin seams at Lepton Edge Colliery, in the mid 50's. Apparently, they had a habit of allowing the electrolite to "creep" thro' the cell vents, when laid down.
I also had a spell wearing these. There was a lamproom full of them at Newton Hill training centre, Wakefield, in the late 60's.
