It might be very rare, but that price is 😮

And I may still be alive, but I don't get any of it 'cos it's already been sold the once originally. 😢

Hi graham
yep I agree but I did say it wasn't cheap to start off with it came as part of collection from OZ with a load of early Northern Mines Volumes the postage from there almost killed the deal. Unfortunately the guy knew it was rare - it was a case of all or nothing

Maybe I should duplicate it again... 😉

Mind you, that wouldn't count, as it wouldn't be the original

Not for me to say - ask JonK - mind you we'd better not mention Oakeley  not at my current rate of progress 😞

Now there's a subject we've come across before!

Possibly a reprint with some new photos, just to make it appeal to those that have the Second Edition already... 😉

Some modern colour photos and coloured maps (easier to understand) would be nice I agree... - my coloured Croesor plan shows you the idea.

Easier said than done, I'm afraid.

Seeing as you did mention it, how is Oakeley Vol 1 progressing?

They have refused so far which does seem a shame particularly as the volume is so rare

Very slowly - sadly I need a good concentrated non-distracted run at some bits of it to finish it off as per my editors requests and convert diagrams to colour - I am finding it extremely hard to find the time - things on here I can do in short bits between work madness and just slot them in. 😉 Oakeley is much more difficult, even my lunchtimes seem to have been taken over by work - finding time at home is almost impossible. 😢 😢

Cheers

I wonder why they refused, especially as you offered to contribute?

I recall a thread on this topic earlier:

I believe Jon is still waiting to be inundated with PMs

Chris.
