Yes, I've put a new event up to avoid confusion.

10am on Saturday.

I can come up for the Saturday trip but have seen videos on You tube of people wading through neck deep water I'm asuming your "No Heroics" statement doesn't include this ;D;D;D

Gavin asked if I could switch the meet time until 11am, so I've done that. Hopefully it doesn't cause any issues

What are you thinking of doing Gav ?

For anyone wanting to stay dry they could stay in Brownley Hill and come out the way they went in.

Anyone not minding getting wet and wanting a bit more of a sporting trip could come out of Haggs.

Plenty of options, can decide at the time.

How wet is 'wet', Chris? My waders were rent asunder in Coniston on Saturday .....

Just been up to Nenthead, Gavin was there and he told me that there is a trip next weekend that I am interested in. I am a member of Nenthead Mines Conservation Trust and also United Cavers Exploration Team. I am looking forward to meet you and having a few pints in the Miners Arms afterwards. I will append my name to the events list.

Wet is as wet as you would like, from splashy to chin deep, such is the variety from Brownley :)
The High Level trip has a bit of waist deep, Haggs gets to chest deep near the entrance, getting to Guddamgill is waist deep; going to the Brownley flats and the blue lagoon is just splashy.
I personally wouldn't bother with a wetsuit for most of Brownley, you aren't in deep water for very long. My sanity may of course be questionable 🙂
Don't look so embarrassed, it's a family trait...

As Nick said, it depends how wet you want to get.

As there are quite a few people coming I don't really know, we'll probably just have to play it by ear.

Those who don't want to go over welly deep can still see plenty in the flats.

Those wanting to get soaked can do down the ladders and out via Haggs is my current plan.
