All being well, Saturday will be Youds - I can't make that day myself. Rockchick's sorting arrangments out with OG so I expect meeting time will be posted in due course.

Sounds like we're largely sorted for this weekend!

Saturday - Youds

Sunday - in AR's hands ;)

@Zomjon1 / Owd Git - hope to meet up with you both for one or both days. Sorry for lack of reply to your earlier trip ideas, I've been buried at work this year so far :/

@jcam - camping booked Friday and Saturday night for you (Rockchick has sorted it, but not sure if she's told you it's in hand

@rjv - are you able to make it for the Saturday?
my orders are to sit here and watch the world go by

ok all, the meeting plan for Saturday is Artist's Corner Carpark, just outside Matlock Bath at 10.30, giving those of us who are camping time for a fry-up first! Then it's off to do Yould's, so bring your SRT kit, a change of clothes, and bravery pills as required!
All further details are in Old Git's hands...

If anyone coming doesn't know the carpark is please let me know and I'll sort out a map/postcode or something!

I'm probably going to have to bail out on the Saturday trip as I've got something urgent and important to do, which I'll explain on Sunday. Which, incidentally, is looking rather wet, according to current forecasts...

As previously mentioned, we'll meet at the Miners around 9.30 on Sunday before sorting out car-sharing and moving on to site, sit harness & cowstails required.

Edit - will try and catch up with the camping contingent in the Miners tomorrow evening.

A big thank-you to John Wilmot and Martin Long for today's trip, which was excellent; I'm just sorry Simon and Rockchick weren't feeling up to coming underground!

I'll second that - fantastic. Shame I didn't manage to get the camera out of my bag, but I had my exploring head on.

And Simon and Rockchick - nice to meet you both, albeit briefly! Hope the journey back was pleasant enough, and will definitely get something good set up for next year 😉

Operating a winch when I'm on it is pretty important stuff in my book, so I'm still grateful for the expertise 😉

Anything to avoid the endless tea drinking, and especially the painting. :)
And the dirty bits had dried up, so not too dirty either.
