Right, unfortunately there will be no one available to let us in on said date. My apologies for this but it is out of my hands :(

So with that I'd still like to do something on that day, possibly do a full day at minllyn and get in all the surface workings as well? Any other suggestions?

a photo trip to ystrad enion?,i've never been and would like to see/photograph the waterwheel,(just a suggestion)although i haven't been to minllyn either..

Unfortunately this has had to be called off for now, there IS a proper summer photography trip in the works for around august time details will be up soon :thumbup:

Might be worth editing the event details? Its still showing on the home page events list as if its going ahead. To edit click the main events tab and you should see an 'edit' link against the name if the trip (only the person who added it will see this)

Rockchick and I stumbled across this mine by accident on Sunday coming down from Cadair Idris... Spotted it from the footpath and went to check it out. But having never been there before hadn't worked out it was Penrhyn Gwyn until I got home and looked at the book!

Didn't go underground obviously (didn't even find the pipe shown in one of the photos in the album) but looks very interesting.
