Right, a date for Boulby
Tuesday June 16th. All attendees will need to be at the mine office by 10am and the tour will last until approximately 4pm.
Usual conditions apply; maximum group size of 8, unfortunately no photography and all safety equipment and protective clothing will be provided by the mine.
4,000 feet below and a couple of miles out under the north sea is quite an experience, definitely not one to be missed.
Again, grateful thanks to Boulby and their safety manager for allowing and guiding these tours. I hope there might be an opportunity for another visit later in the year, but given these tours are provided at the goodwill of the mine operator and they are very popular it's not guaranteed.
I'll set the event up now, those interested and able to make the date please add yourself.
Given the limited places I think it'd be fair that priority is given to people who have not been to Boulby before. Hopefully that is acceptable.
A reserve list will be kept, so reply to the event thread if you don't make it onto the first 8.
I'll lock this thread now to avoid confusion.
