When I first looked at the slide last December on my little hand held viewer I did think is was just a piece of corrugated iron pushed up against the wall for some reason. Does rather show it's worth looking carefully at things:-[

I don't recall seeing that corrugated looking section, perhaps it is in a now inaccessible part?
