Hi TomAudit
Thanks for those points, I've checked them out, but they're not bugs as such...
In the case of the two 'ver y' votes, I suspect what happened was the voter clicked the button twice, this sometimes happens if (for whatever reason) there's a bit of a lag between clicking and the page reloading (slow internet connection etc). I've deleted them now as the text didn't make sense.
The other two votes on the same photo are from different users (the user id is saved against the vote, or 0 is saved for guests/non logged in users).
You'll sometimes find that votes on the same photo come in batches; I can only conclude that this is because the act of somebody voting on a photo brings it to the attention of other members. So sometimes you'll get a rush of votes on the same photo, or two votes in quick sucession which might look iffy, but is actually quite legitimate. I do however remove votes from time to time that have clearly been cast to give a photo a false position; and it's not possible to vote on your own photos.
On the top rated photo, yes there seem to be two from the same person. The script is based on unique votes, so I guess even counting those 2 as 1 unique vote that photo has still got more than any other vote in the database... The fact that it's one of mine has nothing to do with it... d'ya hear 😉
my orders are to sit here and watch the world go by
