For my part, I'm known as Vanoord and tend to lurk in the slate mines of north Wales: I prefer slate as there's usually more headroom than metal mines 😉

Hi, I,m new here. I live high in the hills of North Wales. Have been a nutter on the history and exploration of the slate quarries of North Wales for many years now. I am said to be under the thumb having given up wine, women and song. Dont have much of my own teeth and I get nightmares about the roof at Cwmorthin mine, but would love to do the underground route from Rhosydd to Croesor. 🙂
