You might be OK with a quick poke in Doctors Level or Deep Level, but beyond that you're really looking at proper SRT everywhere.

Surely Hospital Level?

Hospital Level is a very interesting and easy explore. With the current weather I expect one would be able to get in with only wellies, the only water is in the entrance section anyway.

I applaud the excellent work done in there by CAT, it adds to the interest.

I drive up past the YMCA and then swing off left to park on some flat ground in front of the treatment or pumping wajema.

Short walk up the track then.

There is also Levers Water mine and several other bits that can be done without SRT. I have not been there for ages.
Has Deep level been cleared yet after the landslip? I know it was partially done leaving deep water for the explorer.
We may have to redefine "deep water" though at this point in time.

We went in the hospital level adit today and beared to the left which gave us some nice chambers, could anybody advise what there is if you go straight on after going in the adit ?also as we went through the big chambers and past the rope going down to other levels after about 75 mts we detected a rather bad smell do you know if there are any gas/bad air issues in here

It connects to the run in Grey Crag opposite, there is an 'interesting' fall area worth a look accessible by a bit of scrambling.
Should be a survey somewhere.
