Undoubtedly Poland's premier tourist mine. They've got the lot; wifi, underground mobile phone coverage (in some areas) cafés, shops and it's all rather sanitised and touristified. But, having said all that, it is still completely amazing and well worth a visit - including the extra 10zl they charge for taking photographs.
If you're thinking of going it sounds as if the Bochnia mine a short distance further east is also worth the visit. Regrettably we only had time to visit one of them, or so my dear wife reckoned. She may well have been suffering from underground burn out by that stage since she'd been down three other old mines the week before. I know when I'm pushing my luck .
