Delighted to see a Cyprus mine featured .... re Kalavassos - I know the water is running very 'red', but I thought all the mines in that area were copper ?

I wonder if this is purely to act as 'good fortune' - I've not seen a shrine for miners before, albeit one does come across a fair few shrines around the roads of Greece.
