A fantastic mine that we have just gained access to and will be exploring deeper in the spring when the water starts to recede.

Is that Combmartin or Combe Martin?
Is there much to do in that area? Was there in the summer and noticed there was quite a lot of quarrying thereabouts.

Sorry, just saw your location, so that answers that!
I see from the directory that the mine name is spelt differently from the place name.

Combmartin is one of the many old way of spelling combe martin. We are planning to go down the inclines as soon as the water goes down in the spring at the bottom there is a flooded shaft that is only accessible to a diver. We also have our own mine site very close to where these pics were taken.
