Any ideas what this structure is??? The photo might be up side down... Sorry guys, it is on the riverbank next to the phurnacite plant abercwmboi, it is flooded but has some sort of machinery and human access. Thank

If you rotate it 90 degrees clockwise it looks like a conveyor tunnel under the railway line
The ladder thingy then looks like cable racking?

Yes maybe it something of that sort, it faces over the river Cynon. Very unusual structure, does interest me, thanks for you comment 🙂

If you locate the structure on Google Earth and then go back to 2001 imagery you can just see a bit of a concrete wall at the other side of the railway.
Time you hired a small diesel pump.;D
