John James Evans 1938

Any record of the accident that resulted in the death of John James Evans at Nine Mile Point November 1st 1938(?). A horse bolted and dragged the coal truck over him.

Local newspapers will be the best source for details in this period. There is a list of all surviving runs of Welsh newspapers and their locations on the 'Newsplan Wales' portion of the National Library of Wales website.

There was very likely a cornoner's inquest. Surviving coroner's records will be in the county archives.
