I'm about to find myself in Port Talbot for a few days with work. No spare time really, but I noticed the "South Wales Miners Museum" is a few miles up the road.

Can't make its opening hours due to work, but is the outdoor stuff accessable after the places shuts, or will I just get arrested ?

I think there may be someone on site after hours, give the museum a ring.

If you're into old tunnels Gyfylchi and Cymmer are close and Dinas Silica Mines are not too far away.

Gyfylchi.

Excellent, I did throw in my helmet at the last minute just in case.

Will have to see how busy they keep me with the job, or if I can sneak off for a quick poke about.
