We need to find someone who loves model boats, and get them to sail a model motor torpedo boat armed with live mini torpedos. I'd have a go!

I believe when the renovation was done it had to be done to a specific standard being an historic building so would have to have period correct roof, windows, doors and finish.

I did stay in there about 7 years ago for a week (with permission) a really peaceful place.

I understand Llyn Aled is owned by Welsh Water and at least used to be If not still a source for drinking water. If they can be bothered the guy may face a heftier penalty than £30 all done.

Which would be nice.

It's interesting to see the "go home" tag used near Bala, here....

https://www.itv.com/news/wales/2020-03-23/go-home-rats-tourists-urged-to-stay-away-from-coastal-towns-during-coronavirus-outbreak/

Same words used near Bala here....

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2020/03/22/rural-residents-tell-visitors-go-home-parks-beauty-spots-packed/amp/

I would suggest that that phrase here is used against all tourists and daytrippers. Not necessarily intended as a slur against Miles. Indeed the Managers Office may have only been sprayed at all because it was a convenient large white surface.

Would be interesting to know if there were any other attempts at the "go home" and covid message nearby.

Similar graffiti message in Pwllheli????

Hardly surprising, considering the way that the Welsh Government has politicised the whole thing since about week two; using the Cv19 pandemic as an excuse to turn the agenda back onto an English vs Welsh argument. If Central government had said that standing bolt upright was the best cure for Cv19 then Drakeford would have had us lying down or standing on our heads or something. The polar opposite to whatever Boris said!
We should be a United Kingdom when it comes to serious national matters such as tens of thousands of people dying.

I condemn graffiti on property and vehicles etc., but cases are still on the rise in North Wales. Which is odd considering the lockdown and that it's going down in London.

Cardiff where the decisions for Pwllheli are made is also closer than London.

BTW, the link to Daily Pointless that 50shadesofgreen posted today was dated the 11 April. Thats over...

Time for admin to pull the thread I guess (hope).

I didn't say it was breaking news.

The relevance of these news articles to the original images was explained in my previous post. I'm not engaging in politics or points here. Just looking at why the Managers Hut was possibly targeted.

Genuinely sorry to have caused annoyance to anyone.

One can only hope that at the end of all of this that the UK realizes that the handling of UK wide or International pandemics should not be devolved issue.

No annoyance I don't think; not with you.

Annoyance with the Welsh Government; yes.

Sadness; yes 😞

Well there was something similar on one of the little stone bridges on the path on the other side of the lake (minus the Covid reference) just before the lockdown came in.

There's always a few people with extreme opinions knocking about, I guess now a few might be feeling a little bolder as they see the current situation as some justification for their views. I've never felt unwelcome in Wales or run into any hostility, everyone has always been very pleasant apart from one elderly nutter in Betws-y-Coed who took exception to me on my last trip before this all hit, he was quite an angry fellow shouting and waving his stick at me - no idea why I was just walking past on the other side of the road  .

Had a walk up Cwm Orthin today and found that the Smoke flue has no lock on it. Would some who has a relevant contact let them know?

Phil I couldn't have put it better myself , not getting into any political bun fight,I personally think all of the governments should have got there heads together in a grown up manner and been on the same page instead of all having a little lead of there own , but then again Nicola Sturgeon was put on this earth to do just the opposite of what westminster says or advises ! you just got to let them have there little bit of power I would say. Its quite comical they all do the same thing just a few days apart, I suppose it makes them ALL feel important. But never mind Phil us English will be back !! ::)
