Now then, its a small world. My managing Director owns all the land around there and would be happy to point me in the right direction. However he has just left for 3 weeks in the US. If you're still in the dark by then I will chase it up on his return. Keen to have a poke around there myself if there anything to be found. :thumbup:

The starting point is to get to the old gate on Ffordd Isallt at SH90777659. (There's room for a car to park close by.)

Then, if I remember correctly ... go through the gate and head uphill until you reach the base of a cliff. Continue uphill along the base of the cliff until you see (if the undergrowth isn't too high) the tip off to your right. Once you get to the tip the entrance is obvious at the base of the outcrop.

There have been some changes since 1961 when the photo was taken. (I'm a lot older for a start.) There was a gate on the entrance which was not locked when I revisited the place in 2011.

🅱hello there......so yr looking for tanyrywen adit?.....go past plas newydd c van park on yr right.after approx 150mtrs go thro steelgate on yr left.......walk up to cliff base and hug it to yr right....continue up....adit entrance is under tree and gated, but there is a small access hatch....it is about 400metres long....anybody else that wants info on this adit, then im the guy who has it
